This map was a commission for a cottage rental in Cadgwith, Cornwall for their welcome book. The small 16th century fishing village is full of character and Fat Squirrel captured this with nearly every house, fishing hut, and boat finely illustrated. Public footpaths were also requested to be included as well as the most important part of the village..the Cadgwith Cove Inn...Pour us a pint!

The third in the series of the annual Christmas card for Fat Squirrel Studios. With the main office set up in Italy, here the two main protagonists are at the Strade Bianche crossroads and the ‘Belcaro’ office can be seen in the background. With the Coronavirus effecting everyone’s plans this card reflects the trips and events cancelled throughout 2020. Hand-painted in watercolours.

The annual Christmas card from Fat Squirrel Studios is a lot of fun. This illustration sees two of the Fat Squirrel team turning up to look after the Elves as Santa leaves with the Reindeer to deliver presents. What the two housesitters find is all the Elves and Rudolph enjoying themselves a bit too much at the ‘Bar Humbug’. Looks like they had one too many ‘Santaquilas’!

This was one of Fat Squirrel Studio’s first commissions. A family portrait was requested for a surprise 50th wedding anniversary gift. With the main couple in the front garden of their Edwardian home, their three (now grown up) children can also be spotted with their kids and partners. Fat Squirrel put the fun into the drawings with a personalised touch. So, one of the children's families are all sitting in the Renault Deux Chevaux which was left on the drive for years, while one of the cheeky children runs across the fence getting into mischief. Their two cats are also illustrated with a former, and favourite, furry friend sitting on a cloud in cat heaven.

The second Christmas card in the series for Fat Squirrel Studios. With the office based on the Strade Bianche near Siena, Italy this card reflects the surroundings of work life and shows off the creative originality of the company. Here, Santa is driving the iconic Fiat Panda with Rudolph sat in the front, antlers stuck through the roof, and the sleigh being towed along. Three dogs who like to frequent the Fat Squirrel office are also present...the Pandarama title originates from a fun game they play. More on that to be revealed in the future.

There was a rumour in Cadgwith, Cornwall that several camels escaped a sanctuary and were on the loose. This pencil drawing was for a gift to the cottage owner who has now proudly framed the illustration sticking with the rumour.

Good Boy! This commission was a 30th surprise birthday poster for Mr. T himself and his beloved companion, Aski. With his trademark “I Keel You” saying and the T+A cave in the background, this duo would scare anyone with those outfits.

This hand-painted creation was an addition to an Atlantic Images Christmas card. Placed on the back of the card it acknowledges the Coronavirus pandemic mask-wearing of 2020 with Rudolph's iconic red nose still lit up.

This was the sequel to the previous Atlantic Images commissioned Christmas card which saw Santa being chased down the 101 in Los Angeles. Now Santa has hit the Sunset Strip in Hollywood with the LAPD still in tow. With Atlantic Images taking over the Hollywood Sign all the billboards were used to showcase the company's brands. Who said it has never snowed in Tinseltown?

This was the fifth Christmas card produced for Fat Squirrel’s partner company Atlantic Images. The fun project includes the work Airstream in a snow globe with all the brands, articles, and some iconic Christmas staples in the background. Can you spot Clark Griswold, a British mince pie, a Terry’s Chocolate Orange, or even BARRY The Fat Squirrel himself?

This was a commission for a 50th birthday gift. The client was so impressed with one of the previous family-themed drawings titled ‘Happy Families’ that they wanted a similar illustration. With the couple’s oldest son on his tablet and headphones in, the other two younger kids are seen dangling from the window, as they are constantly getting into mischief. Their two pet cats are present as is one of their former favourite furry friends sitting on a cloud in cat heaven. With the Dad as a film producer, his producer's chair can also be seen with his Disney character ‘Patrick’ the pug sitting on it, as can Mum’s old Renault Deux Chevaux sneaking in.

With Atlantic Images as a partner company Fat Squirrel happily take charge of their Christmas Card every year. At the time of this card most clients were based in Los Angeles so using one of AI’s cool images of the downtown Los Angeles night time skyline they then added some fun elements. With Santa getting chased by the LAPD in his sleigh down the iconic 101 freeway this certainly did the trick, as well as some Christmas lights on the skyscrapers.

This was one of Fat Squirrels most fun creations. It was a surprise card for the director of The Land That Time Forgot (1974), Kevin Connor. Based on the iconic poster, the dinosaurs and cavemen were replaced with the director's pet cat Monty, rabbit Squiggles and even the first appearance of Barry, the Fat Squirrel himself! The two main actors were also replaced by Kevin Connor and wife, Jo, as themselves, with their home at the bottom of the exploding volcano.
